▸ THE BOSS FIGHT · $5,000 BOUNTY · ACTIVE

We pay $5,000 to break this thing.

Send us your hardest, most-feared COBOL copybook. If KillSesh can't translate it to TypeScript with 100% field parity, $5,000 is yours. Either way, we publish the trace.

▸ THE RULES · LEGIBLE TO YOUR LEGAL TEAM

Three lines of fine print. No tricks.

01

What counts as a win

You send a real, structurally-valid COBOL copybook (.CPY or .CBL). KillSesh runs the full 5-gate pipeline — Parser, LLM Sanity, Field Parity, Dark Corner, Mock Structure — plus the consensus engine recovery loop. If, after consensus, the output fails Gate 3 or Gate 4 on your file, you receive $5,000 USD via wire transfer within 10 business days. Plus the trace, plus a public write-up explaining the exact failure mode.

02

What doesn't count

Synthetic / generated COBOL designed adversarially against the parser. Files that aren't valid COBOL syntax (we'll tell you, send a real one). Files where the "failure" is a missing optional feature like ALL ON / SCREEN SECTION — those are Phase 2 work, not field-parity bugs. We'll tell you upfront before running which category your file falls into.

03

What happens to your file

It runs entirely on a private, network-isolated KillSesh instance under our control. It is not stored long-term, not used to train models, not added to the burned book corpus, and not shown to anyone outside Beers Labs LLC. We sign your NDA before ingest. The published trace contains structure / verdicts only — your field names and any identifying content are anonymized.

▸ HONEST DISCLOSURE

Why we're comfortable putting up $5,000:

KillSesh has been benchmarked against the hardest published COBOL structure in the insurance industry — the ACORD AL3 nightmare copybook (84 fields, 2 nested REDEFINES, 2 nested OCCURS DEPENDING ON). It passes with 100% field parity in a public live trace at killsesh.com/demo. We have been unable to find a copybook in our reference corpus that defeats the consensus engine. We are offering this bounty publicly because we are genuinely uncertain whether such a copybook exists outside our corpus, and we'd rather pay $5,000 to find one than be surprised by it in production.

⚠ NOTE: even if you don't win the $5,000, you walk away with a complete translation of your file (TypeScript / Zod schema + plain-English data dictionary + mock JSON). That alone is typically billed at $5,000 - $20,000 by other modernization vendors. If your file passes our gates, you got the deliverable for free; if it fails, you got the deliverable AND the $5,000.
